I think Carol is the strongest survivor of all the group.  She is capable of appearing to be all things to all people and making herself appear to be weak and vulnerable when really she is so strong and always puts the group first.  She is one of my favourite characters and is shown in her short hair guise with a black handgun handmade with a 3D pen
