Once again Gyarados was a request from a customer.  I took quite some time to make him because initially, I had thought to make him as one of our normal hats in the same price range as Magikarp. It soon became apparent that this was not going to happen and Gyarados was going to be a showstopper hat.  Sometimes these things just take on a life of their own as I am making them and this is what happened here.  Having said that ... I do love him and he is proving very popular.
